Work Placement

To complete your qualification, you will need to undertake 120 hours of work placement in an approved Aged Care facility supporting older residents and people living with disabilities. This gives you real-world, hands-on experience working directly with clients and qualified carers.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Already have experience or qualifications in childcare or a related field? You may be eligible to fast-track your qualification through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

RPL allows you to receive credit for skills and knowledge you've already gained through previous work experience, volunteering, or prior study, potentially reducing your course duration and cost.

Credit Transfer is also available free of charge for units you have already completed at another registered training organisation.
