A graduate of Oxford University invented the World Wide Web. Could you imagine being the person that thought up that incredible tool to basically make it possible for people to globally share information? Tim Berners-Lee was just that guy. He worked hard and went after his dreams.
He had the creative mind to know that the software industry was the place to be. Without the world wide web we would be stalled in an age that needs information quickly. Many people completely depend on it for their businesses and it's hard to even remember that there was a time when it didn't exist.
Google, the search engine that launched many others. Sergy Brin and Larry Page brought us Google in all its glory. Without their innovative idea where would we be? How would we have searched the world for ideas and information?
Larry page is the guy who took apart a computer and put it back together at the age of 6. He is now one of the most richest men in the world. Page together with Brin came up with the idea of Google because they wanted a search engine that made life easier.
You could bring up a list of things you wanted to be based off of key words and popularity of the subject you were searching. They got themselves some investors and borrowed money from friends and family and the rest is history.
The most used search engine was once just an idea in a software developers head and it made those two men quite rich.
