Certificate in Aged Care

There are no prerequisites to enrol in this course. However, you must be able to read, analyse and comprehend printed information in English. You must be able to write statements and solve problems to complete the course. You must also have reliable access to a computer and a reliable internet connection and have basic computer skills.

The Certificate in Aged Care has been constructed to be a pathway course to a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing). This course is designed as a pathway course that offers students an opportunity to gain knowledge and skills fundamental to the Aged Care Sector. The full mapping summary can be provided to students to share with other education providers should they wish to continue in future studies.

You will learn via various methods; a combination of reading, undertaking research and watching videos. Assessments might include case studies, quizzes, and written assessments.
