Overseas students only (CRICOS registered course). Students must hold a valid Australian student visa.

No formal academic prerequisites

Language, literacy & numeracy (LLN) assessment may apply

IELTS band score of 5.5 or equivalent internationally recognised exam result in line with DHA regulations

Satisfactory completion of an ELICOS program at Upper-intermediate level from Explore English or other NEAS endorsed English language centre

Work Placement Organised by MCIE

The MCIE Work Placement Coordinator will organise your 160-hour placement with one of their host employers, so students do not need to find their own placement.

Blended Learning Delivery

The program is delivered through a blend of face-to-face classes on MCIE campus and online learning for a total of 20 hours per week, offering flexibility alongside structured classroom time.

Nationally Recognised Training

This course leads to an Australian Qualification that complies with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), or a Statement of Attainment.

Canvas LMS Access

Most assessments are delivered online via the Canvas LMS. Students can communicate with trainers via email, the student portal and the learning management system.

Microsoft Office Access Provided

MCIE provides access to Microsoft Office for all students. Students are recommended to have access to a laptop or tablet to submit assessments.
