Employment in these occupations is projected to stay about flat. Government projections put them at 30,300 workers in May 2025, 30,800 by May 2030 (up 1.8%) and 32,200 by May 2035 (up 6.2%).
More people are choosing this qualification each year. National enrolments rose from 20 in 2023, the first year it appears in national data, to 145 in 2024 (up 625%).
