BSB80120 is the nationally recognised Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning). It prepares you for work as a training and development professional. It has been the current version on the national register since 2020, when it replaced BSB80515 and BSB80615. Enrolment counts people in training, not completions, so the two figures describe the pipeline and the market, not a job guarantee.
None of the occupations this qualification leads to is rated as in shortage on the official list. In the 2025 Occupation Shortage List assessment, Training and Development Professional is rated not in shortage.
Employment in these occupations is projected to grow. Government projections put them at 31,800 workers in May 2025, 34,200 by May 2030 (up 7.5%) and 36,500 by May 2035 (up 14.9%).
Outcomes for this qualification sit close to what is typical for a Graduate Diploma. In the latest national outcomes survey (2025), 93% were employed or in further study after training, against a Graduate Diploma median of 93% across 1 qualifications. Median income after training was $68,600, compared with $68,600 typical at this level. 96.1% were satisfied with the training, against 96.1% typical.
More people are choosing this qualification each year. National enrolments rose from 10,455 in 2023, to 14,810 in 2024 (up 41.7%).
