Who It’s For

Why Do This Course

Move Into Management

The course is aimed at people already in a business or office who want wider career options. You build the skills a manager uses daily: budgets, plans, resources and risk.

Apply It At Work

Much of the study draws on your own workplace. You can use what you cover this week on the job next week, which is why it suits people who work while they study.

Lead People Better

Units cover emotional intelligence, workplace relationships and team effectiveness. You learn to communicate with influence and to build critical thinking in the people around you.

Where The Skills Fit

Where These Skills Could Take You

These are broad business skills, so they travel across industries. Picture yourself running a team, holding a budget, or keeping a department's plans on track.

Office Manager

Run the systems, budgets and people that keep an office working.

Project Manager

Take a piece of work from scope through to delivery.

Team Leader

Guide a small team, set goals and handle day to day issues.

Program Coordinator

Keep the moving parts of a program lined up and on schedule.

Business Development Manager

Find new work and build the relationships that bring it in.

Senior Administrator

Hold the detail across finance, records and reporting.

These are roles where the skills are useful. They are not promised outcomes, and some need more study or experience.

Common Questions

What do I need to enrol?

You must be eighteen or older when you register. You need English, reading and maths at ACSF Level Three. A short test may apply if English is not your first language.

How long does it take?

About twelve months at a full-time load, or fifteen months part time. The standard enrolment period runs two years.

How will I study?

Online and self-paced. There are no scheduled classes or tutorials, no harsh deadlines, and course access runs day and night.

How will I be assessed?

Through unit quizzes and practical tasks based on evidence from a workplace. The work is meant to reflect what the job asks of you.

Is this course accredited?

Yes. It is nationally recognised training for BSB50120 Diploma of Business, delivered by a registered training organisation, RTO TOID 22228.

Can past study or work count?

It might. Credit transfer and recognition of prior learning can give you unit credits and may speed up your course. Your skills and work history decide this.

Is this course government funded?

Payment plans do that job here. The college is a fee for service provider, so it is not tied to FEE-HELP or VET Student Loans, and you spread the cost weekly instead.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Withdraw inside the thirty day cooling off period and you get a refund, less the admin fee. After that, stopping payments needs proof of hardship.

What equipment do I need?

A laptop or desktop with steady internet. You need Microsoft Office or the same kind of tool, a PDF reader, and rights to install software. A camera is needed for video calls.
