Thinking about a move into security work without a tech background? The bootcamp runs four stages, from fundamentals through to threat intelligence. It all happens in a browser, with labs to work through.
Built for beginners and career changers.
The bridge from IT support into security.
Every stage ends in a hands-on applied exam.
Defensive security teams sit inside banks, telcos and government. A day is alerts, log queries, write-ups and passing on what you found.
Triage alerts and chase the odd ones down.
Watch the logs and write up what happened.
Rank the holes and push the important fixes.
Track who is knocking, and tell the team.
Roles where these skills are useful, not promised outcomes. There is no job guarantee, and hiring depends on the employer, your background and how you interview. Some employers ask for accredited study as well.
Four stages, each one opening the next.
Three things that make the bootcamp different.
Nothing to install and nothing to buy.
An AI teaching assistant by voice or text.
Skills list, case studies and an achievement report.
Plus a completion Certificate from TechDX and Upskilled
Associate, Analyst, SOC Analyst and CTI Analyst.
Case studies and an achievement report to show.
You are marked on what you do, not what you recall.
The bootcamp is for people living in Australia.
What each stage covers, and the pacing.
Upfront, or spread fortnightly or monthly.
Log in and start the first labs.
None. Complete beginners and career changers are the people this is built for.
Any reasonably current computer and steady internet.
Ten months of access, at about ten hours a week.
Applied exams at the end of each stage.
It is open to people living in Australia only.
You earn four TechDX certifications and a completion Certificate. It is not accredited training, not an AQF qualification, and not nationally recognised, so it does not licence you for a regulated role. What it gives you is lab hours and an evidence pack to show employers.
There is no job guarantee. Hiring rests with the employer, your background and your interview.
Upskilled is a Registered Training Organisation, RTO number 40374.
The bootcamp is delivered with TechDX on the TDX Arena platform.
Picture the night the alert is yours, and you know what it means.
