Entry Requirements

What you’ll typically need to get started in this nationally recognised qualification.

All participants must complete online theory and achieve 100% competency in all three online assessments prior to attending the practical assessment session. Failure to do so will result in being refused entry on the day.

Language, literacy & numeracy (LLN) assessment may apply

A USI (Unique Student Identifier) number is mandatory for any student undertaking vocational training.

Students must have sufficient digital literacy skills to access online content, enter answers to written questions, and communicate with trainers via email, the student portal, and the learning management system.

Students with disabilities are welcome; acceptance is subject to ability to undertake all course requirements with reasonable adjustment where applicable. Students unsure about CPR practical on the floor should contact MCIE on 1300 737 044 or support@mcie.edu.au.

Statement of Attainment

On completion, students receive a Statement of Attainment for HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting. The certificate will also state it is issued in partial completion of CHC30121 – Certificate III Early Childhood Education and Care.
