What Makes It Different

You cover basic anatomy and physiology across all three when assessing cardiovascular conditions. A baby is not a small adult.
The unit follows guidelines set by the Australian Resuscitation Council.

How to Get Started
Common Questions
Do I need any experience?
None. There are no prerequisites. You do need to be physically able to do uninterrupted CPR for at least two minutes on a manikin placed on the floor. There are no exceptions to that.
What do I have to do before the class?
Finish the online theory and score 100% on all three online assessments. You cannot attend the practical day without that.
What does it cost?
$120 for the course.
How long is the certificate valid?
Three years. Updating the CPR part every 12 months is recommended so your skills stay current.
Does this include CPR?
Yes. The CPR component is inside this course, so you do not need to book it separately.
