You must be at least 18 years old. You need Australian residency or full work rights. You also complete an LLN assessment and phone interview.
Study online through the aXcelerate portal. You get pre-recorded teaching sessions and optional weekly virtual classes. On-campus attendance is not required.
You complete written tasks, case studies, activities and demonstrations. Role plays are also part of the course. There are no traditional exams.
No work placement is required. Your assessments include workplace scenarios, case studies, activities and role plays.
Yes. You can apply for Recognition of Prior Learning. It covers existing skills and knowledge linked to course units.
The course awards a Statement of Attainment for eight nationally recognised units. It is not a full AQF qualification. Units align with CHC43215 Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs. They can support credit transfer into further study.
