Who It’s For

Why Do This Course

The Clinic Vocabulary

Medical words get a unit of their own. Reading a referral is most of the job.

Records and Privacy

Patient records get a unit of their own. So does keeping them private and safe.

Accounts Too

The course covers medical accounts. That is what sets a clinic desk apart from a normal one.

Where The Skills Fit

Where These Skills Could Take You

Clinics, practices and hospitals all run a front desk. The work is bookings, records, accounts, and knowing what the words mean.

Medical Receptionist

Front desk of a clinic or practice: bookings, arrivals, records.

Medical Secretary

Correspondence, referrals and scheduling for practitioners.

Accounts Clerk

Preparing and processing accounts inside a medical setting.

Records Clerk

Patient records kept accurate, private and findable.

Roles where this course helps, not promised jobs. Job Outlook expects the medical field and the front desk pathway to grow in the years ahead.
