Whether you help run projects now or you are new, this fits. You cover scope, time, cost, risk, quality and stakeholders. It is the right fit for a first project role.
This is the entry level, made for people with no project background. You learn the whole cycle: start, plan, run, watch and close.
Already coordinating work? You put method behind it, and a nationally recognised course against the job you are doing.
Projects run in construction, IT, business and community services. The skills fit whichever of those you land in.
Project work runs across construction, IT, business administration and community services. The work is easy to picture: holding the schedule, chasing the paperwork, keeping stakeholders informed, and spotting the risk before it lands.
Roles where these skills are useful, not promised outcomes. Every role is different, and some need more study or experience.
Nine units across the whole project cycle.
Three reasons this one is a solid first step.
The course is modelled on the five project processes and the nine knowledge areas of PMBOK.
You learn to coordinate projects using any method, from Scrum and Agile to Six Sigma and PRINCE2.
You can move up to the Diploma of Project Management (BSB50820) and, further out, toward Project Management Professional.
