Do I need a business already?
You can start with just an idea. The course walks from investigating the opportunity through to the plan and the launch. People already trading use it to tidy up the parts they skipped.
Do I need experience to get in?
You can start with no past study. You must be 18 or older and able to work at ACSF Level 3 English and maths. A short test may apply if English is not your first language.
How long will it take?
Full-time takes as little as 8 months. Part-time takes about 12 months. You get a 24-month enrolment period.
What does it cost each week?
From $43 a week on a flexible plan. You can pay weekly, fortnightly or monthly. The college caps how much you can pay in advance.
How does study work?
It is online and self-paced. There are no classes, and you can take the tutorials in the order that suits you.
Can my past study or work count?
Yes. Credit transfer and recognition of prior learning may give you unit credits. That can fast-track the course.
Is this course accredited?
Yes. It is nationally recognised training awarded by the Australian Government. You finish with BSB40320 Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business.
What if I change my mind?
There is a 30-day cooling-off period. Withdraw inside it and you get a refund, less the administration fee. After that, stopping payments needs evidence of hardship.
