Who It’s For

Why Do This Course

Move Up In HR

You already know the day job. This course adds workforce planning, industrial relations strategy and leadership across a whole business.

Count The Years You Have Done

Four years of relevant HR work can get you in. Credit transfer may also cut units you have already covered elsewhere.

Keep Working While You Study

There are no set classes and no fixed deadlines. You pick the hours, and the course stays open for a generous enrolment period.

Where The Skills Fit

Where These Skills Could Take You

HR sits in almost every company, so these skills travel well. The work is easy to picture: planning who the business needs, sorting pay and relations issues, and helping managers lead better.

HR Manager

Senior HR Business Partner

HR Consultant

HR Department Roles

Roles where these skills are useful, not promised outcomes. Every role is different, and some need more study or experience.

Common Questions

Do I need experience to get in?

You can enrol two ways. Hold the Diploma of Human Resource Management (BSB50320 or BSB50618), or show four years of relevant full-time work. A CV or job description covers the work route.

How long will it take?

Full-time takes about 18 months. Part-time takes about 18 to 20 months. You get a 24-month enrolment period, plus extension and deferral options.

What does it cost each week?

From $69 a week on a flexible plan. Plans can be weekly, fortnightly or monthly. The college caps how much you can pay in advance.

How does study work?

It is online and self-paced with 24/7 access. There are no scheduled classes or tutorials. Some assessments use a video call.

Can my past study or work count?

Yes. Credit transfer and recognition of prior learning may give you unit credits. That can fast-track the course.

What do I need to study at home?

A laptop or desktop with steady internet. You also need word processing and spreadsheets, a PDF reader and a camera for video calls.

Is this course accredited?

Yes. It is nationally recognised training awarded by the Australian Government. You finish with BSB60320 Advanced Diploma of Human Resource Management, delivered by an RTO, TOID 22228.
