Maybe you already do your own nails and people ask who did them. This course covers prep, then the designs clients book by name, from chrome to marbling. It ends on aftercare and troubleshooting.
Tools, equipment and nail preparation come first. Designs last longer when the base is done right.
Glitter and sugaring, chrome, flake and foil, stickers, stamping, ombre, French, marbling, line work, florals and jewellery.
The last stage is aftercare and troubleshooting, so a lifting tip does not cost you the client.
Nail work suits people who like detail and repeat clients. Some join a salon floor, others build a home studio and take bookings direct.
Design work on a salon floor or in your own space.
Technique work, from chrome and foil through to jewellery.
Your own bookings and prices, with the bonus courses behind you.
Roles where these skills are useful, not promised outcomes. This is a college course, not a nationally recognised credential, and some employers ask for one.
Three stages: prepare the nail, apply the design, finish the service.
The design list is the reason to look: twelve named techniques, not a general overview, plus the kit to practise every one of them.
Chrome, foil, stamping, ombre, French, marbling, line work and florals each get taught, rather than lumped under nail art.
Tools, textures, pigments, liquids and disposables come in a custom case. You practise on the products you will buy again.
Two bonus short courses cover business and social media, which is how nail work gets found.
Issued by the college on completion
Issued by the college when you finish. It is a college award, not a national credential.

Your kit is posted out and your login opens.
Work the three stages at your own speed.
No. The course opens with tools and nail preparation before any design work. You will need to be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, over eighteen, with a computer and reliable internet. The college can supply a computer or tablet if you do not have one.
Six to ten weeks at your own speed, and you keep access to the material for twelve months.
From $38 per week on a payment plan. Weekly, fortnightly or monthly options are available, or you can pay in full.
Tools and equipment, texture products, pigment products, liquid products and disposable items. The kit is yours to keep.
Glitter and sugaring, chrome, flake and foil, sticker and decal, stamping, ombre, French, marbling, line designs, flower designs and nail jewellery.
A Certificate of Attainment issued by the college on completion. It is not a nationally recognised credential under the Australian Qualifications Framework. For salon work or your own studio, it is the technique and the portfolio that clients judge.
Yes. Tell the college during enrolment if something could affect your online study, and they will work through the adjustments with you.
Australian Beauty School is an online beauty college. Courses run self-paced from home, with a kit posted to your door and tutor support six days a week.
Think of the first set you finish that someone books you for again.
