Who It’s For

Why Do This Course

Keep the Stock Alive

Dead plants are dead money. You cover plant health, container stock, watering and pruning. That is most of a garden centre's margin right there.

Make the Floor Sell

Display technique is its own module. So is product knowledge across indoor plants, trees, bulbs and herbs. Customers buy what they can picture at home.

Learn the Wholesale Side

The second certificate moves behind the retail floor. Site layout, growing media, irrigation and pest control each get a module.

Where The Skills Fit

Where These Skills Could Take You

Garden centres run on people who know plants and like customers. Both are learnable. The work suits people who prefer being outdoors.

Garden Centre Floor Manager Trainee

Learns to run a section, its stock and its team.

Wholesale Nursery Assistant

Works the growing side, from media to irrigation.

Inventory and Display Clerk

Keeps stock counted and the floor looking worth buying.

Horticultural Sales Coordinator

Handles orders and keeps trade customers supplied.

Marketing and Events Assistant

Runs promotions, workshops and seasonal campaigns.

Procurement and Supplies Aide

Sources stock and keeps supplier paperwork in order.

Roles are examples of where these skills are used. They are not promised outcomes.

Why This One

What Makes It Different

Three certificates sit inside one course: garden centre, wholesale nursery, marketing.

01
Retail and Growing Together

Most garden work splits into selling or growing. This course covers both sides. Useful if you plan to run your own place.

02
Marketing Written for Plants

The third certificate covers research, advertising and strategy for horticulture. Selling a rose is not the same as selling a fridge.

03
Fifty eBooks Included

Enrolment opens the CCH eBook library, with over fifty titles. Handy when a customer asks something the module did not cover.
