There are no prerequisites to complete this course. However, you must be able to read, analyse and comprehend, printed information in English, and to write statements and solve problems to complete the course. You must also have reliable access to a computer and a reliable internet connection and have basic computer skills.

Module 1: Managing Remote Work

In today’s world, working remotely is becoming increasingly common (and popular), offering greater flexibility and independence for employees. However, a virtual office set-up without a structured workplace, can also be challenging. Throughout this module, you will learn ways to increase productivity and efficiency, when working in a virtual role. You will explore different communication techniques and the technologies used when working outside a traditional office environment, learn how to manage teams remotely, and ultimately develop a remote working plan so you can be successful in your virtual role.
Module 2: Digital Marketing
100 Hours
This introductory module will provide you the tools needed to navigate the complex, rapidly changing world of digital marketing. You will learn about social media marketing, search engine optimisation (SEO), online advertising, and how to build and engage with your online audience. Understanding and being able to execute a digital marketing strategy is paramount to any product or service-based business. As too, is understanding how to efficiently utilise social media channels to launch, build and grow a customer-base and stand out from your competitors.
Assessments are an important part of your study journey as they help ensure you stay on track and meet the learning objectives of each lesson before moving onto the next. They also help your student support advisor and mentors identify where any further support may be required, so that you get the most out of your course. You will learn via various methods; a combination of reading, undertaking research and watching videos. Assessments might include case studies, quizzes, and written assessments.
