There are no prerequisites to enrol in this course. However, you must be able to read, analyse and comprehend printed information in English. You must be able to write statements and solve problems to complete the course. You must also have reliable access to a computer and a reliable internet connection and have basic computer skills.
Designed to give you a holistic and comprehensive introduction into nature park management, you will learn about natural environments, and the management of zoos, wildlife parks and nature reserves. You will develop an understanding of basic ecological principles, nature park design, soil management, plant maintenance and land rehabilitation, to provide you the skills and knowledge you need to successfully manage a nature park or reserve.
This is a beginner level course and may be useful for people aspiring to work in nature parks and reserves, in managerial or technical positions.
