Special Conditions for this Course

Mandatory work placement includes 160 hours of practical work placement with a qualified supervisor (i.e. a person who holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent). Students may need to undertake a Working with Children check to meet individual work placement employer requirements. They will be assisted in organising a work placement location of their choosing.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

If you have previous experience and skills in education but no formal qualifications you can consider Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and get credit towards this course.

Work Placement

This course also includes 160 hours of work placement, at the choice of the student, with support and assistance provided if needed.

Red Cross Australia is a third-party training provider who conduct training and assessment services on behalf of Foundation Education. Please note that the cost of this external training is not included in any of your course fees.
